A sneak preview from the global artistry director for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty.
September 19, 2023
By: Melissa Meisel
It’s all about the lips for Spring 2024, according to Sofia Tilbury, global artistry director & brand muse for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty. A rosy pout is also offset by flushed cheeks and glowing skin. “For Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2024, we wanted to create a fresh, glowing look with soft-focused, rosy cheeks and lips reminiscent of a hazy summer garden. We used Charlotte’s new innovation for a blurred, modern matte pink lip, with the Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wands pressed over the cheeks for a cloud-skin blush,” she said. “To prep the complexion, our amazing Team Tilbury Pro Artists, who flawlessly executed our vision for the lookbook, started with layers of hydration to drench the skin with glow. We used Charlotte’s Glow Toner to gently smooth and cushion the skin, following with Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, Cryo-Recovery Eye Serum, and Charlotte’s Magic Cream to achieve an immediate skin revival. “We wanted the models’ complexions to look as natural as possible, so we went for the weightless, skincare-infused Beautiful Skin Foundation and lightly applied with a fluffy Magic Complexion Brush to create a dewy, seamless finish. Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer was used to erase the look of pigmentation and redness and patted into the skin only where needed to let the natural complexion and magic skincare prep effortlessly breathe through,” said Tilbury. “To create that rose-garden cheek, we used a dot of the new Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand – opting for nude pink, peach pink or cherry pink tones depending on the model’s skin tone, then created a subtle, natural-looking sculpt with the finely-milled powder formulas of Airbrush Bronzer and Hollywood Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter. On the eyes and brows, we stayed simple to allow the freshness of the skin to take center stage. We brushed the brow hairs up for texture, then glided soft, neutral matte eyeshadow shades through the lids before finishing with a light wash of Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara for added tint,” she added. The beauty brand also recently launched a skincare product—Magic Water Cream. For more on color cosmetics, look here.
